Annie is a certified birth doula, CD(DONA), holds a HypnoBirthing® Support Techniques for Doulas certificate, and has offered prenatal education classes, breastfeeding education, in-home breastfeeding consultations, and doula services to families in Toronto for the past 5 years. She runs a Pregnancy & Birth blog (www.doulaannie.com), a Doula and Childbirth Education practice and still has time to update her learning on all things birth and parenting on a daily basis through reading, professional contact and training. Annie is pleased to be part of a group of doulas working in the newly created Scarborough Hospital Doula Program. As passionate breastfeeding advocate and a former La Leche League member, Annie had the pleasure of taking the 20-hour WHO Breastfeeding Course taught by Dr. Jack Newman & Edith Kernerman in 2009 and Advanced Breastfeeding Practitioner training with Jack and Edith in the Fall 2011. She also participates in a volunteer doula/breastfeeding program that helps women who do not normally have access to doula care.
Annie is an educator that is passionate about expectant parents learning everything they need to know to feel confident about their upcoming birth and baby.

Jacqueline Streich, ND believes that healing comes from within, and that the body has an innate capacity to heal itself. She works to encourage and empower each individual with the tools and information to achieve their health goals. Dr. Streich received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph, before going on to complete her degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. While at CCNM, she travelled to India to further enhance her studies in homeopathy, participated in an externship at Anishnawbe Health Toronto and completed a specialty internship in pediatrics at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Dr. Streich is licensed and registered as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy. She is also a member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors, an executive member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors and is a certified Labour Doula.
Enjoying variety and challenge, Jacqueline treats all ages and health concerns including digestion, fatigue, allergies, cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, and mental/emotional concerns. She has a special interest in family medicine, pediatric and perinatal health, and believes in building a strong foundation of health for all ages through lifestyle, diet and nutrition. Jacqueline's view of health and wellness is strongly rooted in a holistic approach to patient care which takes into consideration mind, body and spirit. She strongly believes that every person has a unique story that needs to be understood in order to address the root cause of his or her health concerns. Her healthcare practice follows an integrative methodology that combines the latest in medical science with clinical nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, botanical medicine and counselling for long term, effective results.
Dr. Raquel Marques
Dr. Marques practiced in both the U.S.A. and Singapore, before returning to her home country of Canada to practice in 2011. Dr. Marques studied Kinesiology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high honours from the University of Waterloo. She then completed a four-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Marques had the honour of receiving the prestigious Robert J. Czopath Service and Leadership Award and was chosen as the Outstanding Clinical Intern for her graduating class.
Dr. Marques shows genuine concern and care for the well-being of her patients. Her passion is working with pre and post natal women. Dr. Marques speaks on many topics her most popular being her dynamic 5 Part New Beginnings Pregnancy Series; including Part One: How to have a pain free pregnancy, Part Two: The Wellness Pregnancy, Part Three: Pregnant in the Workplace, Part Four: Nutrition for the Healthiest Pregnancy, Part Five: Back to the Mommy Future; Returning to the New You. Dr. Marques is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is Board Certified in the USA, Singapore and Canada. She is also certified in Webster’s Technique (a prenatal specific technique).
As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Marques is committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of her patients. Dr. Marques uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Marques is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Marques understands the concept of living an active, balanced and healthy lifestyle, amongst the face-paced Toronto work environment. She enjoys working closely with each patient throughout their therapy and incorporating an exercise rehabilitation program. It is her goal to instil knowledge of how the body heals and strengthens as patients progress in achieving their health goals. She is best known for her gentle but firm adjusting style which incorporates many techniques such as diversified, SOT, activator, and drop-table adjusting techniques. She is particularly interested in empowering her patients to strengthen and maintain good health individually once they pass the pain-phase of their condition.
